Purpose and legal status of this policy

This Research Use Policy sets out the research-use-only ("RUO") basis on which VaultLabs For Laboratories Chemicals Trading L.L.C supplies every item in its catalogue. It is incorporated into, and forms part of, the Terms and Conditions. Accepting the Terms at checkout means accepting this policy. Where this policy addresses a matter in more detail than the Terms, this policy applies to that matter; where the two conflict on liability, warranties, or contract formation, the Terms prevail. This policy is a statement of VaultLabs' supply conditions and is not legal advice to you.

Governing language

The English version of this Research Use Policy is the binding text. Arabic and any other translation are provided for convenience. If a translation differs in meaning, the English version prevails.

What research use only means

"Research use only" means the material is supplied solely as a reference substance for controlled in vitro laboratory research and analytical testing by qualified personnel. It describes the entire legal basis of the supply — not a label, a caveat, or a formality. A material supplied on RUO terms has not been assessed, approved, registered, or released for use in or on humans or animals by VaultLabs or by any regulator, and no part of the catalogue, the website, or any VaultLabs document should be read as qualifying it for such use.

• In vitro means outside a living organism — in glassware, plates, instruments, or isolated systems.
• Qualified personnel means people competent to handle research chemicals within an appropriate laboratory setting.
• The purchaser, not VaultLabs, determines whether a material is suitable for a specific experiment.

What VaultLabs materials are not

Catalogue items are research materials. They are not, and must not be represented or used as, any of the categories below. This is an exhaustive statement of position rather than a list of examples: if an intended use falls into any of these categories, VaultLabs materials must not be used for it.

• Not a medicine, medicinal product, pharmaceutical, or investigational medicinal product.
• Not a food, beverage, food ingredient, dietary supplement, or nutraceutical.
• Not a cosmetic or any product for application to the human body.
• Not a medical device, in vitro diagnostic device, or component of either.
• Not a veterinary medicine or any product for administration to animals.
• Not a biocide, agricultural product, or household product.

No regulatory approval, registration, or marketing authorisation

VaultLabs materials hold no marketing authorisation, product registration, or regulatory clearance from the UAE Ministry of Health and Prevention, any UAE health authority, or any medicines or device regulator in any jurisdiction, and none is claimed. VaultLabs holds trade licence 1640432 issued by the Department of Economy and Tourism (DET) for the trading activities recorded on that licence. A trade licence authorises commercial trading activity. It is not a product approval, a manufacturing licence, a pharmacy licence, or a health-authority endorsement of any catalogue item, and it must not be presented as one.

Who may purchase

Purchasing is restricted to qualified laboratories, institutional or academic research programmes, commercial R&D functions, and authorised procurement channels acting for them. You must be at least 21 years old and have legal capacity to contract. Purchasing for personal, household, athletic, cosmetic, or clinical purposes is not permitted under any circumstances, regardless of how the order is described at checkout.

• If you order for an organisation, you confirm you are authorised to bind it to this policy.
• VaultLabs may require institutional affiliation, laboratory details, an end-use statement, or import documentation before dispatch.
• Providing false information to obtain material is a material breach and voids the supply.

Research purchaser declaration

Every order requires the purchaser to confirm the declarations below. They are material terms of your offer to purchase, not an acknowledgement notice. Each declaration is recorded against the order with a timestamp and retained for 7 years. VaultLabs relies on these declarations when deciding whether to accept and dispatch an order, and an order placed on a false declaration may be cancelled at any point before or after dispatch.

• The purchase is for in vitro laboratory research or qualified analytical testing.
• The material will not be administered to, or consumed by, any human or animal.
• No reliance is placed on VaultLabs for medical, dosing, protocol, or study-design advice.
• The purchaser will comply with applicable laws and institutional requirements.
• Possession and use of the material are lawful in the purchaser's jurisdiction.
• The purchaser accepts the Terms and Conditions and the policies linked from them.

Permitted uses

Subject to this policy and to the purchaser's own regulatory position, VaultLabs materials may be used for in vitro laboratory research, analytical and reference work, and method development by qualified personnel in an appropriate laboratory setting. Typical permitted work includes analytical identification and purity work, reference-standard comparison, stability and handling studies, assay and method development, and laboratory training on handling and documentation. Permission under this policy is not a substitute for any approval the purchaser's own institution or regulator requires.

Prohibited uses

The following are prohibited absolutely. They are not discouraged, not conditional on disclosure, and not capable of being authorised by VaultLabs support staff, a sales conversation, or any wording added to an order.

• Consumption, ingestion, inhalation, injection, infusion, implantation, or topical application by any human or animal.
• Any clinical, therapeutic, preventative, diagnostic, or patient-facing use.
• Veterinary administration, including to a purchaser's own animals.
• Personal, household, recreational, cosmetic, or athletic use of any kind.
• Compounding, formulating, repackaging, or dilution into anything intended for human or animal use.
• Onward supply to any person who intends any of the above.
• Presenting VaultLabs materials, COAs, or branding as evidence of fitness for human use.
• Publishing reviews, testimonials, or marketing that imply personal, physical, or medical outcomes.

Sport and anti-doping

Several compounds in the research catalogue appear on the World Anti-Doping Agency Prohibited List. Purchasers connected to athletes, sporting bodies, anti-doping programmes, or testing laboratories are responsible for their own obligations under the applicable anti-doping code. VaultLabs supplies these materials only as in vitro research and reference substances, and supply does not constitute any authorisation, exemption, or defence in a sporting or anti-doping context.

Independent qualification by the purchaser

The purchaser is responsible for qualifying incoming material against its own specification before use. VaultLabs supplies material with the documentation described below; it does not certify fitness for any particular experiment, method, instrument, or downstream application. Where an experimental outcome depends on identity, purity, water content, counter-ion, endotoxin level, sterility, or any property not stated on the published documentation for that lot, the purchaser must establish it independently. VaultLabs materials are not supplied as sterile, endotoxin-tested, or cell-culture qualified unless the documentation for that specific lot states otherwise.

What a certificate of analysis does and does not establish

A certificate of analysis records the analytical results reported for a specific lot at the time of testing. It is an identity and quality record for that lot and nothing more. Published COAs and batch records are made available for traceability and verification, and lot numbers can be checked through the batch verification portal.

• A COA is not a use instruction, protocol, method, or recommendation.
• A COA does not state or imply that the material is suitable for human or animal use.
• A COA does not replace the purchaser's incoming material qualification.
• Results describe the tested lot only and are not a warranty for other lots.
• Where a COA has not been published for a lot, no analytical representation is made beyond the product specification.

No dosing, protocol, or medical guidance

VaultLabs does not provide dosage, administration, study-design, or medical guidance. This applies to every VaultLabs channel without exception — email, WhatsApp, Telegram, live chat, phone, social media, the on-site assistant, and any published article, monograph, calculator, or guide. No VaultLabs employee, contractor, or automated tool is authorised to provide it, and any statement that appears to do so is unauthorised and must not be relied on. Reconstitution and concentration tools published on this website perform arithmetic on numbers the user supplies; they are not dosing tools and imply nothing about administration to any subject.

Handling, biosafety, storage, and disposal

On delivery, responsibility for safe handling passes to the purchaser. The purchaser must assess the material against its own risk assessment and handle it under the controls its institution requires, including personal protective equipment, containment, and trained-personnel requirements. Storage conditions stated on the label and product page are the conditions VaultLabs specifies for the sealed material; hold times after opening or reconstitution are determined by the purchaser's own quality system. Disposal must follow applicable UAE waste regulations and institutional procedures. Research materials must not enter general waste or drainage where local rules prohibit it.

Institutional, ethics, and biosafety approvals

Where the purchaser's intended work requires institutional review, ethics approval, biosafety committee clearance, controlled-substance authorisation, or any comparable permission, obtaining and maintaining that permission is the purchaser's responsibility alone. VaultLabs does not verify, audit, or assume the existence of such approvals, and accepting an order is not a representation that the purchaser holds them.

Import, export, and cross-border transfer

VaultLabs supplies to all seven emirates on the basis set out in the Shipping Policy. Where a purchaser arranges onward movement of material across any border, the purchaser is the exporter or importer of record and is responsible for classification, licensing, customs declarations, restricted-substance controls, and sanctions compliance in every relevant jurisdiction. VaultLabs does not provide export classification advice and does not act as the purchaser's customs agent.

Resale, transfer, and redistribution

Resale, brokered supply, or redistribution of VaultLabs materials requires appropriate trade licensing and regulatory authorisation in each relevant jurisdiction. A purchaser who transfers material to any third party must pass on the research-use-only conditions in this policy and must not represent the material as approved for any use excluded by it. Institutional purchasers remain responsible for internal transfer controls and for downstream use within their own research environment.

Order screening, refusal, and cancellation

VaultLabs operates order screening as part of this policy and may hold, decline, or cancel any order, before or after payment, where the research-use basis of the purchase cannot be established. Grounds include inconsistent or implausible declarations, order patterns suggesting personal use, requests for dosing or administration guidance, refusal to provide requested verification, delivery details that conflict with a stated institutional purchase, and any indication of onward supply for a prohibited use. Where an order is declined on these grounds, amounts paid are refunded in accordance with the Return and Refund Policy. VaultLabs is not obliged to explain a refusal in detail and may decline to supply without giving reasons.

Misuse, suspension, and termination

Breach of this policy is a material breach of the Terms. VaultLabs may suspend or close an account, cancel outstanding orders, decline future supply, and retain records of the breach. Where VaultLabs becomes aware of conduct that appears to endanger a person or to contravene UAE law, it may report the matter to the relevant authority and will cooperate with lawful requests. Suspected misuse can be reported in confidence to support@vaultlabs.shop.

Warranties and liability

Materials are supplied as research materials against their published specification and, where published, the certificate of analysis for the lot supplied. No warranty of fitness for a particular purpose, merchantability, or suitability for any application beyond in vitro laboratory research is given or implied. Warranties, limitations of liability, indemnities, and the time limit for bringing claims are set out in full in the Terms and Conditions and are not restated or varied here, so that a single set of provisions governs. Nothing in this policy excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded under UAE law.

Relationship to other VaultLabs policies

This policy sits alongside the Terms and Conditions, Acceptable Use Policy, Compliance Policy, Shipping Policy, and Return and Refund Policy. Read together they form the supply agreement. Where a marketing page, product description, blog article, monograph, or support message appears to contradict this policy, this policy governs and the other content is to be read as subject to it. No VaultLabs employee or agent has authority to waive, vary, or disapply this policy.

Governing law and jurisdiction

This policy is governed by the laws of United Arab Emirates, and the courts of Dubai, United Arab Emirates have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising from it. Nothing in this policy limits the purchaser's obligations under the laws of any other jurisdiction in which the purchaser receives, holds, or uses the material.

Changes to this policy

VaultLabs may update this policy to reflect changes in regulation, catalogue scope, or operating practice. The version in force at the time an order is accepted governs that order. The current version and date are shown below and at the top of this page. Material changes are reflected in the version number.
