No. Adamax is not [Semax](/product/semax-10mg). The identical 10 mg fill is what makes the mix-up look harmless. The structures are not the same claim, and this catalogue refuses to pretend they are.
Semax is a synthetic heptapeptide: the ACTH(4-7) fragment Met-Glu-His-Phe, extended by Pro-Gly-Pro. The sequence is Met-Glu-His-Phe-Pro-Gly-Pro. CAS 80714-61-0. Formula C37H51N9O10. Molecular weight 813.87 g/mol. VaultLabs supplies that identity as Semax 10mg. The chemistry is on the Semax monograph. UAE supply notes are on Semax for laboratories. Selank is a third name and is not stocked here; Semax versus Selank covers that separate collision.
Adamax is a catalogue name for a Semax-related peptide. It is not the sentence above with a new label. Adamax 10mg is its own SKU. The Adamax monograph and the Adamax UAE page both stop before assigning a CAS, because the public record does not agree with itself.
What the public disagreement actually is
One public listing is an acetylated MEHFPGP sequence near 984 Da, with no adamantane group. Another describes an adamantane modification near 1032 Da. Those cannot both be the structure printed on one vial. A page that picks one of them, so that a table looks complete, would be inventing an identity. VaultLabs does not do that. For a unit in hand, the lot certificate is the identity record.
That is a narrower statement than “the structure is unknown to chemistry.” It means this shop will not launder a disputed formula into a product page. Ask the lot record to state the sequence or the modification before the vial is used as a reference standard.

What a Semax paper does not prove
Indexed Semax papers describe Semax. They are useful when the vial is Semax. They do not fill the gap on an Adamax unit, and they are not a certificate. If a vendor file says “see Semax literature” as the identity packet for Adamax, send it back. The packet has to name the lot that is on the glass.
The same rule runs the other way. An Adamax listing is not evidence for a Semax structure, and it is not a reason to “upgrade” a Semax requisition. Write the catalogue SKU. “Semax-type 10 mg” is how the wrong vial gets received.
Receiving the 10 mg vial you actually ordered
Match four strings:
- Adamax or Semax, spelled in full, on the invoice.
- The same name and 10 mg on the vial.
- The lot on the vial and the lot on the certificate.
- For Semax, CAS 80714-61-0 or the sequence Met-Glu-His-Phe-Pro-Gly-Pro when the certificate prints an identity field. For Adamax, whatever structure that lot’s certificate actually states, not a structure copied from a forum.
Look the lot up in batch verification. If nothing is published yet, use a documentation request and keep the vial in quarantine. How to read a peptide COA is the field order once a document exists.
Semax has an N-terminal methionine, so oxidation is the related substance worth reading on a Semax certificate. That check belongs to Semax. Do not paste it onto Adamax until the lot says the residue is there. Handling for both sealed vials is still the label: 2–8 °C, protected from light, into cold storage when a UAE parcel is signed for.
What this page will not decide
It will not crown a public Adamax structure. It will not tell a laboratory which sequence to study. It will not treat a shared search phrase as a shared molecule. If the method names Semax, order Semax 10mg and file CAS 80714-61-0. If the method names Adamax, order Adamax 10mg and file the lot, not the Semax monograph.
