A CJC / [Ipamorelin](/product/ipamorelin-5mg) blend vial is one catalog SKU and two peptide identities. Specification work starts there. VaultLabs lists CJC-1295 Ipamorelin 5mg. The 5 mg figure is nominal catalog mass for the presentation as sold — read the COA and label for how that mass is described.
What “blend specification” can mean
- Catalog specification: name, nominal mass, storage line, lot print.
- Lot specification: whatever the COA actually measured for that batch.
- Protocol specification: what your method needs. VaultLabs does not write that.
Do not borrow a purity number from a single-peptide CJC lot and apply it to the blend.
Receiving checks
- Invoice SKU is the blend, not “CJC-1295” alone and not “Ipamorelin” alone.
- Vial print matches.
- Lot matches batch verification and the PDF.
- Identity language on the COA mentions both components, or clearly states what was tested.
How to read a peptide COA and interpreting assay results apply after the names match.
Reading a COA that covers two components
A blend COA has to answer a question a single-peptide COA does not: what was measured, and on which component. Read the method titles before the numbers, because that is where the ambiguity lives.
A single purity figure on a blend document may describe the combined chromatographic profile rather than either peptide individually. That is a legitimate way to report it, but it does not tell you the ratio of the two components, and treating it as if it did is the most common misreading. If the ratio matters to your method, it has to be stated on the document — it cannot be derived from a combined purity number.
Identity is the other half. Confirm the document establishes both components are present, rather than naming both in a title line while testing one. A title is a label; the identity and method sections are the evidence.
Where a lot reports the components separately, keep both figures in the record. Collapsing them into one number to fit an inventory field discards the distinction the supplier took the trouble to measure.
Why blends break sloppy inventory
If the fridge label says “CJC” and the next buyer pulls the blend for a protocol written against CJC-1295 only, the ELN will lie. Keep a dedicated row: “CJC-1295 / Ipamorelin 5mg — lot — first opened.”
Reconstitution math
Use the reconstitution calculator only after you know which mass your SOP assigns to the whole cake. The calculator will not split a blend into two concentrations unless your SOP defines that split.
UAE notes
Same heat, AED, and research-use rules as other peptides. Research use policy. The Vault Standard is the documentation bar.
This blend is supplied for in vitro research only. No secretagogue protocols, no human use.
