MT1 is the [Nle4, D-Phe7]-α-MSH analog catalogued under CAS 75921-69-6, molecular formula C78H111N21O19, molecular weight 1646.85 g/mol. MT2 (Melanotan-2) 10mg carries a different registry number and a different sequence, and the two are not grades or generations of one product. Both fills are pale lyophilised cakes at the same nominal mass, so nothing about the physical unit distinguishes them.
Write the catalogue name in full on the requisition and never the bare word Melanotan. Where a method or a paper uses afamelanotide-class terminology, put the registry number alongside it in the inventory row, because a registry number is the one identifier that cannot be misread between the two lines. The MT1 and MT2 comparison sets out the catalogue distinction.
Because both lines share a nominal 10 mg presentation, a receiving check that reconciles only strength and date proves nothing here. The discriminating fields are compound name, registry number and molecular weight where the record prints them — 1646.85 g/mol belongs to MT1 and to no other line in the catalogue.
Per-lot certificates are published to batch verification as they are uploaded, with the MT1 COA index as the product-side route to the same records. Confirm those identity fields before the unit leaves quarantine, and note whether the analysis is described as independent or supplier-generated. The COA interpretation guide covers what each field is worth.
One sealed vial per unit, one strength, no diluent in the box. Diluents are separate catalogue lines under research support, because concentration and diluent selection belong to the receiving laboratory's own procedure and to its preparation record rather than to the supplier.
Keep MT1 on its own inventory row with the registry number recorded. Shelving it beside MT2 under a shared melanocortin label is convenient and is precisely how a substitution survives a receiving check; if a rack label has to be abbreviated, abbreviate to the catalogue SKU rather than to the compound family.
Pricing and checkout are in AED and dispatch covers the seven emirates, producing an order record that ties an invoice to the lots received. Sealed vials are stored cold and protected from light and moisture per the printed label and lot record; log the lot and time of receipt and move the parcel out of ambient conditions before the paperwork is finished. Site guidance is in the research peptide storage guide. If a lot is unpublished, raise a documentation request and hold the unit.
MT1 is supplied for in vitro laboratory research only. VaultLabs makes no claims about pigmentation, appearance or physiology, supplies nothing for human or animal use, personal use or medical application, and provides no administration or preparation guidance for living systems.
