Pinealon for UAE laboratories

The catalogue holds one Pinealon presentation: a 10 mg fill of white lyophilised powder in a sealed vial, labelled with catalogue name, strength and lot. Diluent is not in the box. Bacteriostatic water and sterile water are separate lines because the receiving laboratory's procedure, not the supplier, chooses the medium.

EDR is the sequence shorthand that appears on methods and paper titles. It is not a second SKU. Record Glu-Asp-Arg, CAS 175175-23-2 and the printed lot on the same inventory row so a requisition written as EDR still reconciles to the vial in the fridge. Molecular weight on the published record is 418.40 g/mol — that figure is the cheapest check against a mix-up with Epithalon at 390.35 g/mol.

Epithalon (also written Epitalon) is Ala-Glu-Asp-Gly. VaultLabs stocks it as Epithalon 10mg with its own lots and its own certificates. Both names begin with a pineal-associated short peptide in the same literature family, which is why a purchase order that says only “the 10 mg Khavinson peptide” is under-specified. SEMAX 10mg is an unrelated heptapeptide. It shares a 10 mg fill and a cognitive-research shelf label, not a sequence. Keep Pinealon on its own inventory row. A certificate issued for Epithalon or Semax cannot release a Pinealon vial.

Confirm compound name, sequence or CAS, strength and lot before the unit leaves quarantine, and note whether the analysis is described as independent-laboratory or supplier-generated.

If the lot is unpublished, raise a documentation request with the lot and order reference and hold the material. Do not file a neighbouring short-peptide certificate against this vial. Sealed vials are stored at 2–8 °C, protected from light and moisture, and allowed to reach ambient temperature before opening so condensation does not wet a small cake.
