Unverified does not mean illegitimate. It means a buyer cannot independently confirm the claims being made before money changes hands — no named legal entity, no lot number that resolves to a document, no consistent research-use positioning, and no invoice that would survive an internal audit.

The distinction matters because a supplier can be perfectly honest and still be unverifiable. If the only evidence of purity is a marketing figure on a product page, a receiving team has nothing to reconcile against when the vial arrives.

Everything below is a category description of patterns commonly seen in online listings serving UAE buyers. VaultLabs does not name or assess specific companies.

First, find the legal entity. A supplier selling into the UAE should be willing to state who they are in a form you could put on a purchase order. A social handle is not an entity.

Second, take a lot number from a product you are considering and try to resolve it to a document before you buy. On VaultLabs this is batch verification; elsewhere, ask for it and note whether the answer arrives pre-purchase or post-payment.

Third, read the same compound's page on two different suppliers and compare the specifications, not the adjectives. Storage temperature, supplied form and presented strength should be stated plainly and should not change between orders.

Fourth, check the checkout. Whether you can pay in AED, receive a VAT-legible invoice, and retrieve an order record later determines whether the purchase can be reconciled at all.

Fifth, read the compliance language across the whole site rather than one page. Research-use positioning that appears in the footer but is contradicted by consumer framing elsewhere is not a policy.

A COA describes one lot, tested on one date, by one laboratory. It is evidence about that lot and nothing else, which is why a document that is not tied to the lot number on the vial in front of you carries very little weight.

An image of a COA is weaker still. It cannot be traced back to the issuing laboratory, and it can be reused across batches indefinitely. This is the specific gap batch verification is meant to close: the lot on the label should resolve to a published record on the supplier's own domain.
