SNAP-8
SNAP-8 is acetyl octapeptide-3, an N-acetylated and C-amidated octapeptide related to the N-terminus of SNAP-25. VaultLabs supplies a 10 mg lyophilized vial for in vitro work. It is longer than acetyl hexapeptide-8 (Argireline) by an alanine and an aspartate, and it is not that hexapeptide. It is not an approved medicine.

What SNAP-8 is
SNAP-8 extends the acetyl-hexapeptide pattern by Ala-Asp. The INCI name is acetyl octapeptide-3. Public sources do not all print the same molecular weight: the amide formula on PubChem is about 1075 Da, while another registry calculation is nearer 1034 Da. This page prints the sequence and CAS 868844-74-0, and it does not invent a purity to paper over that disagreement. Match the lot certificate.

How VaultLabs catalogues it
The only VaultLabs fill is SNAP-8 10mg. It is not GHK-Cu and not Matrixyl. Papers about Argireline describe the shorter hexapeptide. They are cited on the monograph so a reader can see the relationship, and the citation note says they are not a SNAP-8 certificate. Do not file an Argireline chromatogram against this vial.
Cosmetic-peptide names collide in purchasing. Write acetyl octapeptide-3 or SNAP-8, the 10 mg fill, and the lot. The monograph is at /compounds/snap-8. Receiving still uses batch verification and a documentation request when the public lot page is empty.
Lots and receiving
Each sealed unit carries its own lot number. The current catalogue certificate for that lot is published on the batch page and states purity of at least 99.8 percent on the same VaultLabs template used for the rest of the lyophilized catalogue. A certificate for one fill does not qualify another fill. A certificate for a blend does not qualify a single-sequence vial that happens to share part of a name. Do not copy a purity figure from a different product, from a photograph of another vial, or from a paper into the receiving file. Match the printed name, the nominal mass and the lot number on the vial to the published record. If those three do not agree, hold the unit and ask for the document that belongs to that unit before it leaves quarantine. Enter the printed lot at batch verification.
Storage and research-use boundary
Keep the sealed lyophilized vial at 2 to 8 degrees Celsius, protected from light and from moisture, until it is opened under the laboratory's own procedure. Allow the closed vial to reach room temperature before the seal is broken, so water from humid coastal air does not condense on the dry cake. Bacteriostatic water and sterile water are separate catalogue lines. They are not packed inside the peptide box, because the receiving laboratory chooses the medium in its own procedure. VaultLabs does not publish a preparation method on this page. After the seal is opened, solution age, container and freeze cycles are controlled by the laboratory, not by the catalogue page.
The material is supplied for in vitro laboratory research only. It is not for human or animal consumption. It is not an approved medicine, not a finished cosmetic, and not a personal-use item. Papers cited on the compound monograph describe other people's experiments. Those papers are not a description of what this vial will do, and they are not instructions for any person or animal. A buyer who needs a registered medicine should use a licensed pharmacy channel. This page exists so a procurement officer in the UAE can identify the catalogue line, the fill, the price band and the paperwork before raising an order.
